  • The BOS system is very sensitive when entering the postal code, so make sure it has the capitals and the space like this example ( T9H 2Y6) and it should work if not then email woodbuffaloimagiatnionlibrary@gmail.com and we can help get your child entered.

  • If you provide an email address with your registration you will be notified via email when the registration is approved or entered into our system. If you do not have an email address you will need to contact us or your local affiliate to find out more information but it does take 6-9 weeks for books to start arriving after approval.

  • Yes, All books within the program are age-appropriate and are selected by early childhood experts. More information about our Book Committee can be found at www.imaginationlibrary.com and select "Choosing Our Books” under Canada.

Every child receives the same welcome book, regardless of age, and the following month the age-appropriate titles will start to arrive.

  • You may let parents and guardians know of the program and provide signup forms or website links but since enrolment requires consent from an authorized adult, no one other than the legal guardian may enrol children.

  • All titles in the Imagination Library are published by Penguin Random House and carefully selected by a panel of experts in early childhood and reading. Our Book Selection Committee meets annually to review and refresh the book list, drawing on their years of experience in early years and education. This ensures each book is age-appropriate, and the list features a broad range of titles, authors, and genres.

  • We are so sorry to hear this. You can contact your local Postmaster and report the damage and see if there is anything they can do to prevent this in the future.

  • You are more than welcome to sign up your twins or multiples but as they mail out so many titles in a month, they will receive the same titles. Many times we will set them up with each of their first initials and share the book or both first names if room.

Siblings can sign up and will receive their own books, every child receives the same first and last title but otherwise it is an age appropriate book each month. If the children are close in age they may receive some duplicate titles as they only change out a ¼ - 1/2 of the titles each year, so the closer in age the more chances are of duplicates. Either way the children love getting their own books.

  • No, Imagination Library does not accept books from the public. The program selects age appropriate books and sends them to the children. You can however support the foundation either by donating or volunteering for the cause.
